My live reading this Saturday!

Hello Everyone and a warm welcome to you! I have taken a break from the blog for a little while. I am starting up my news letter, coming soon. I will be talking about what is new and exciting with my work as well as what I’ve been up to. In other news, I will be doing a live reading this Saturday at 8:00 p.m. EST (5:00 p.m. PST) in the Facebook group, The Lesbian Fiction Campfire. I will be reading from Enticed by Love as well as answering questions. You can join the group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/236364701097297. If you have questions for me, you can send me an email at lynnlawlerbooks@gmail.com. Thank you!

This summer, I have been able to catch up on my two manuscripts. They are coming along very well and I’ve had a lot of fun writing them.

The first manuscript is about a woman who encounters a strange event one night that she has no recall of it afterward. As time moves forward, she notices unexplainable changes in herself. Strangers contact her, and are watching her move. A twist makes the woman feel as though she were going crazy. At the same time, a strong woman, yearning for love enters her life. This story is currently with the beta readers.

The second manuscript is a romance that takes place during a pandemic. My protagonist is an attractive woman who is stuck in her life at the start of the story. Suddenly she is thrown into circumstances out of her control and her struggle is to resolve the issues. Two women enter her life, each seeking love, but only one can have her. A sudden gift comes her way that opens up a new can of worms. With this a secret is unraveled, revealing a truth that shakes up some people. This story has about 63,000 words and I have more plot to write.

I want to thank everyone who has given me a review/rating on Amazon, Amazon UK and Goodreads. I really appreciate this. Down below is a purchase link for Enticed by Love. You can click on the picture with the book cover.

Enticed by Love. This unique story is about a woman, Henrietta, who is haunted by a past love while another one waits on the horizon. Her long-lost lover often occupies her mind. At the same time, she possesses a gift that not many understand but those who do, flock to her. A gorgeous and intelligent woman, wiser beyond her years, enters Henrietta’s heart. Certain shocking truths surface, changing the course of Henrietta’s life. A life-long mystery is solved. I invite you to come along for Henrietta’s amazing journey. It is LGBTQ and has romance, paranormal, ESP and mystery.

In other news, I did some beta reading for a Lesfic author. Her book is the first part of a western series and I’m already looking forward to book two. I love beta reading because I’m helping authors. They really appreciate the suggestions and critiques. It brings me great joy to see their book in print later on.

It has been a good experience this past month as I’ve really gotten in touch with myself through the writing. I’ve let go of a lot of things that no longer serve me. I am very grateful.

Thank you for stopping by today. It was great to see you all. This semester I am back in school with my German class. I will be posting less frequently. For more news, please sign up for my newsletter by emailing me at lynnlawlerbooks@gmail.com or at https://lynnlawlerbooks.com/contact.

Until Next Time,
